Theresa C. Kargol, age 91, of Espyville, passed on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at her residence. Theresa was born on January 8, 1925 in Munhall, Allegheny County, PA, the daughter of the late John and Mary Kargol. She retired from Kaufmans Department Store, Pittsburgh, where she was a department manager. She attended Munhall High School, and was a parishioner of St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, in Munhall. Theresa was a caregiver all of her life, even from a young age: this was one of her greatest joys. She loved watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh sports teams; she was very fond of wild birds and loved feeding and watching them. She loved: going to Mass, holiday gatherings with her family, especially her great nieces and nephews, whom she considered to be her “grandchildren”. Theresa loved cooking and baking for her family Surviving Theresa are: a brother Ed Kargol of Espyville, a sister Mary Frances McAndrews of Carlisle, PA, nephew Ed and his wife Sheryl Kargol and their 3 children, Michael Kargol, Stephen Kargol and his son Bennett and Stephen’s wife Annie, and Kristen Kargol; nephew Ken and his wife Suzy Kargol, and their 3 children, Andrew Kargol, Nathan Kargol and Julianna Kargol; niece Linda and her husband Michael Morell and their 3 children, Sean Morell, Allison Morell and Christopher Morell, nephew Kevin and his wife Isabel McAndrews and their 2 children Ian McAndrews and Megan McAndrew; niece Annette and her husband Evan Wynn and their child Michelle Wynn; niece Mary Frances McAndrews. In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by two brothers: John Kargol and Casey Kargol. Family and friends are welcome to call on Sunday, April 10, 2016, from 1 PM unitl 3 PM at the Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. Second Street, Conneaut Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of the America’s Roman Catholic Church,155 S. Ninth Street, Conneaut Lake, with the Rev. Father Jeffrey Lucas, as Celebrant. Theresa will be laid to rest in the Church Cemetery.
