Theresa A. Szydlowski

Theresa A. Szydlowski, age 92 formerly of Meadville, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home in Conneautville, PA. She was born October 12, 1922 in Pittsburgh, PA the daughter of the late Francis X. Kraemer and Theresa M Rosenberger Kraemer. She married Leonard E. Szydlowski on November 27, 1941 and celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1988. She had attended St. Michael's and South High School in Pittsburgh. She had been employed as a waitress/cook and also as a Practical Nurse. She attended St. Paul's Church of Christ in Meadville and St. Peter's Catholic Church in Conneautville. She enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and traveling. Theresa is survived by a daughter: Sharon L. Shilling and her husband Daniel of Conneaut Lake, PA, a son: Wayne L. Szydlowski and his wife Betty Jane of Pittsburgh, PA, six grandchildren: David P. Ritter, Andrea N. Ritter, Michelle L. Smith, Debi Heistand, Glenn Szydlowski, Linda Gibula, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, a brother: Andrew G. Kraemer and his wife Sylvia of Clearwater, FL, a brother-in-law: Raymond Straile of Johnson City, TN, a loving and loyal companion for 25 years: Lloyd A. Hazlett of Venango. In addition to her parents and her husband, Theresa was preceded in death by two brothers: Jerome E. Kraemer, Francis A. Kraemer, a sister, Dolores M. Straile.
