Thomas E. Mailliard

February 20, 1951 — December 25, 2018

Thomas E. Mailliard, age 67, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away December 25, 2018 at Meadville Medical Center.  He was born February 20, 1951 in Meadville to the late Robert and Eva (Brunot) Mailliard.  Thomas was a 1970 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School.  He then joined the United States Army from 1971-1973, where he was a member of the 3rd Infantry Old Guard at Arlington Cemetery.  He then worked as an auto mechanic. Thomas was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6037 and a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church.  He was in many pool and bowling leagues.  He enjoyed casinos, horse races, spending time at camp and spending time with his granddaughters. Thomas is survived by his significant other of 18 years, Betty Turner of Conneaut Lake; his daughter, Chelsea Ann Mailliard of Erie, PA; his step-daughter, Debra McPherson and her husband, Jason of Townville, PA; two stepsons, Daniel Turner and his wife, Amanda of Greenville and David Turner of Youngstown, OH; two grandchildren, Killian and Hannah Shartle; one sister, Margaret Ann Straka of HI; three brothers,  Gaynell Mailliard of Conneaut Lake, PA, Michael Mailliard and his wife, Kate of Dayton, TN and Bernard Mailliard and his wife, Deb of Conneaut Lake, PA; one sister-in-law, Pat Mailliard of Conneaut Lake, PA and his beloved dog, Holly.  Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Chuck Mailliard and a sister-in-law, Jean Mailliard. Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, December 28 at Dickson Funeral Home, Conneaut Lake from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, December 29 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas with Father David Carter officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Knights of Columbus General Fund P.O.
