Verna Mchale

Verna Mae McHale, age 72 of Linesville, passed away on June 20, 2016 at her residence.             She was born on November 20, 1943 in Murrysville, PA the daughter of the late Vernon Wilt and Margaret Barron Wilt.  She married Larry McHale on July 19, 1969. He preceded her in death on June 6, 2007.             Verna graduated from Franklin Regional High School. Verna worked in Washington, D.C. as a paralegal, and then moved to Los Angeles, CA where she worked for an attorney. She later retired when her son Jonathan was born. Verna was a member of and past secretary for the Linesville Grange. She was of the Christian faith. Verna enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, mowing her grass, playing Facebook games, and vacationing with her family.             Verna is survived by her son Jonathan McHale, of Linesville, PA, one sister: Judy (Leroy) Moon of Brunswick, GA, one brother: Terry (Deb) Wilt of Hiltonhead, SC. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.             In addition to her parents and husband, Verna is preceded in death by Jim Wilt, Patricia Weitz, Linda Wilt, and her twin sister Peggy Cummings.             There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.             Interment will be in Restland-Lincoln Memorial Park with her parents and husband of 37 years.
