Victoria (Vicki) Morandini, age 94, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021 at home with her family at her bedside. Vicki was born March 7, 1927 to Anthony and Josephine Badura in Ford City, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew; an infant son, David Andrew; her parents; two brothers, William and Joseph Badura and two sisters, Ann Logsdon and Mary Ann Hnatiow.
Survivors include daughter, Margaret Leveto of Meadville, PA and Mary Jo Morandini of Monaca, PA; three granddaughters, Andrea Leveto, Amy Leveto and her soulmate, Michael Barton and Rebecca Watson and her husband, Jason and four great grandchildren, Wilder Andrew Watson, Finn Allan Watson, Reign Augustine Watson and Leonardo Andrew Barton.
Vicki attended summer music lessons at Carnegie Tech in Pittsburgh and as a teenager loved playing the piano for dance bands and later in life for her own entertainment. In the late 1940’s she was employed by PPG Industries in Ford City. In 1950 she married Andrew Morandini and they were happily married for almost 60 years.
Vicki volunteered at Spencer Hospital for many years ending as President of the Auxiliary during the merger of Spencer and City Hospitals; now the Meadville Medical Center. She also served as Eucharistic Minister there for many years and donated much of her time as a volunteer to the hospital.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Roman Catholic Church in Conneaut Lake where both her and her husband spent many volunteer hours. She especially enjoyed serving on the Landscape Beatification Committee. She was a lifetime member of the Altar Rosary Society, 55+ Club, Prayer Line and a past choir member. Vicki was also an Erie Cursillo member and she became a coordinator for Crawford County.
Family meant everything to Vicki along with a strong commitment to the church and many other charitable agencies and causes in the community.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday September 8, 2021 from 10:00am-12:00pm at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 South 9 th St., Conneaut Lake, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 pm followed by burial in the church cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
