Virginia Lee Dubrawsky

Virginia Lee Dubrawsky (Urey), age 88, of Meadville, passed away July 12, 2016 at her daughter’s home surrounded by family.             She was born July 17, 1927 in Conneaut Lake, PA, the daughter of the late Albert Earl Urey and Florence Marie Lynce.             Virginia was a lifetime member of the Linesville VFW Auxiliary post #7842. She loved gardening, hunting and fishing, and was still fishing last year. She was of the Christian faith. Virginia retired from Molded Fiberglass Tray Company of Linesville as a press operator.             She is survived by three daughters: Gloria Jean Reed (Roy) of Bloomington, IN, Carol L. Winans (Clark) of Meadville, PA, and Janice M. Carlisle (Bill) of Conneaut Lake, PA, a son: Jeff Swafford of Conneautville, PA, a brother: Jack Raymond Urey of Conneaut Lake, PA, seven grandchildren: Kenneth (Jeannie) Reed, Shannon (Sondra) Reed, Brian Lewis, Alan (Tabitha) Lewis, Teresa (Rick) Harmon, Kurt (Tracy) Reynolds, Janelle Swafford, and eleven great-grandchildren.             Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Doris Morrell, Betty Fuller and Ida Abbott, a brother: Albert Urey, a son: David Morris Swafford, two grandchildren: Stacy Reed and Scott Lewis and three husbands: Hubert Swafford, Albert McKeague, John Dubrawsky.             Calling hours will be on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1PM until 4PM at the Dickson Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow at 4PM with the Pastor David Brumagin officiating.  Honors will be conducted by VFW Post # 7842 Ladies Auxiliary.  A private family burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.             A special thanks to the 4th floor nursing staff of Meadville Medical Center, Dr. Kenneth Unice, Dr. Calvin Han and Yetta Young of Crawford County Hospice.
