Virginia “Ginny” Louise Gregg, age 79, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away on Thursday March 6, 2025 at Meadville Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. She was born on May 12, 1945 in Geneva, PA to the late Russell and Dorothy (Olin) Iliff. She was formerly married to Glenn Boyd of Grove City, PA. She was then married to John Gregg on November 18, 1974 until his passing on February 10, 2019.
Ginny worked at Country Fair in both Conneaut Lake and Linesville as a clerk. She moved to Florida in 1989 and then returned to Crawford County after John’s passing.
She was of the Methodist faith. She was a member of Trinity Global Methodist Church. She loved playing bingo at St. Philip Church Hall in Linesville and at the Active Aging Center and the Kerrtown Community Center in Meadville. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
Ginny is survived by her children, Robin Saulsbery and her husband, Gary, Jerry Boyd and his wife, Diann, Terry Boyd and his wife, Cindy and Cherri Saulsbery and her husband, Bob all of Conneaut Lake, PA, Lori Shumaker and her companion, Brian of Knoxville, TN, John Gregg Jr. and his wife, Colleen of Cleveland, OH, Connie Hughes and her husband, Mike of Newark, OH and Cheryl Higgs of Columbus, OH; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Boyd, her daughter, Melissa Walker, her brother, William Iliff and her son-in-law, Paul Higgs.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday March 10, 2025 at Dickson Funeral Home and Crematory, 130 N. 2nd St., Conneaut Lake, PA 16316 from 12:00-2:00 pm at which time the funeral service will take place with Pastor Keith McIlwain officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Stevenson Cemetery in Greenville, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Yolanda Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335.
