Virginia Kelley

Virginia B. Kelley, age 94, of Meadville, PA passed away on January 21, 2021 at Crawford County Care Center.  She was born on January 30, 1926 in Mercer County, PA to the late Ralph and Beatrice (Beil) Buckley.  She married Philip Kelley on May 16, 1943 in Fredonia, PA.  He preceded her in death in August 1997.

She was a cosmetologist at various shops.  She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church of Meadville, PA.

Virginia was a volunteer at Meadville Medical Center and with RSVP.   She was active in the Eat and Travel Club.    She enjoyed playing cards and working in her flower garden.  She was a seamstress, enjoyed needlepoint and was an avid reader and she loved going to Largo, FL with her late husband.

She is survived by three sons, Patrick Kelley and his wife, Janice of Meadville, PA; Michael Kelley and his wife, Laura of Union City, PA and Brian Kelley Jackson (Shane Bridges) of Grand Rapids, MI; seven grandchildren, Katie Carr and her husband, Robert, Sean Kelley, Patrick Kelley II and his wife, Kelly, Timothy Kelley and his wife, Jayne, Heather Duran and her husband, Paul, Trevor K. Jackson and Sean K. Jackson;  9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Philip and two half-sisters, Sara Buckley and Helena Lloyd.

Due to the COVID pandemic, there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Virginia will be buried at Greendale Cemetery next to her husband, Philip.
