Walker Judson Perrine, Jr

Walker Judson Perrine Jr. age 85, of Conneaut Lake, passed away at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. He was born April 13, 1928 at Sandy Lake, the son of Walker Judson Perrine Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Jacobs, Perrine. Walker married Norma Jane Hall, on February 7, 1953, she survives. He graduated from Cochranton High School in 1947, and served our country with the 110th Infantry, 28th Division, in Germany, during the Korean War. Walker retired from Avtex Fibers after 40 years of service. Walker also worked as a dispatcher for Laidlaw Transportation, the Conneaut School District. He was of the Protestant Faith. As a Pittsburgh sports fan he followed the Steelers, Pirates, and the Penguins. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing Euchre, board games, and going bowling. Surviving Walker Judson Perrine Jr. are: his wife Norma J. Perrine, of Conneaut Lake; two daughters: Mary Talbot (Leo) of Cochranton, Laurie Kurt (Jeff) of Conneaut Lake; four sons: Mark Perrine of Zelienople, Scott Perrine of Conneaut Lake, Greg Perrine of Sharpsville, and Brad Perrine (Amy) of Conneaut Lake. Also surviving are eight grandchildren:Lacey Kurt(fiancé Brad), Nikki Kurt, Winston Talbot (Kelley), Mitchell Talbot (fiancé Megan), Meghan Perrine (fiance Nathan Mattern), Christian Perrine, Scotty Perrine, Paige Perrine, two great-granddaughters: Isabella Talbot and Elizabeth Talbot. He is also survived by a sister, Virginia Sebek (Gene), of Chicago, Illinois. Other survivors include, two cousins: Teri (Carl) Dykman of San Antonio Texas, and James Perrine of Pioneer, California and several nieces and nephews. Preceeding Walker in death were: a brother John (Jack) Perrine, a sister Clorinda Tucker, and his parents Walker J. Perrine Sr. , Agnes Perrine, Mary and Lester Mumford. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 10, 2013, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Dickson Funeral Home 130 North Second Street, Conneaut Lake, PA . The funeral service will be held on at 11 am on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jay Sterling and Pastor Dave Brumagin, both of trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, Officiating. Interment will be in Roselawn. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Crawford County, or the Barco Oncology Institute.
