Wanda Kesslar

  Wanda F. Kesslar, age 84 of Conneaut Lake, passed away on October 21, 2016, peacefully, at her home.   She was born September 10, 1932, at Dubois, PA.   Wanda was the daughter of Edward Hughes and Frances Weibel Hughes; they preceded her in death.   She married  Walter M. Kesslar, on Valentines day, and they were married  for 41 years; Walter preceded her in death. She graduated in the last class of Falls Creek High School of Dubois; where she served as Class President, and was chosen Homecoming Queen.    After graduation Wanda worked at the Dubois Deposit National Bank; she then married Walter and became a fulltime homemaker.   She was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Catholic Church, of Conneaut Lake.   Wanda enjoyed making phone calls to family members, just to stay in touch.   Even at 84 years of age she was a fashionable lady, and loved her 1998 PURPLE Ford Escort.   Wanda will always be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother.   Survivors include :   2 sons: Ronald (Jo Ann {Jodi}) Kesslar of Greenville, PA and Robert (Marylou) Kesslar of Conneaut Lake; 5 grandchildren: Steven Kesslar of Greenville, PA, James Kesslar of Greenville, PA,  Robin Kesslar of Greenville, PA, Joshua Martsolf of Meadville, PA and Juliet Martsolf of Conneaut Lake. 2 great grand children: Alex O’Grady and Molly O’Grady  Also surviving are 2 sisters:  Beverly Bierty of Florida, and Sylvia (Donald ) Leidle of Falls Creek, PA….and 1 brother James (Norma) Mack of Dubois, PA Several nieces and nephews also survive Wanda.    Services for Wanda will be private.  Her interment will take place in Morningside Cemetery, Dubois; next to her husband, Walter.   Wanda’s family would like to thank Betsy Tingley for coming to Wanda’s house to style her hair; and also for Bunny Duncan for being such a wonderful neighbor.   Wanda Kesslar Obituary Page 2     Funeral Arrangements for Wanda F.
