Wanda "Sue" Sharpe

Wanda “Susie” Sharpe, age 60, of Meadville, PA passed away suddenly at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA  on Tuesday July 9, 2024.  She was born on September 12, 1963 in Meadville, PA to the late Robert and Gloria Watkins.

Susie graduated from Meadville High School in 1982. She was also in the Culinary Arts program at Vo-Tech.  After high school, she worked at Elby’s Big Boy until she joined the carnival and traveled the East Coast for 3 years, where she met her former husband, Michael Sharpe.  She then worked as a security guard in Cleveland, OH until she had their children. She then stayed home to raise the kids.

She enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Susie is survived by her partner of over 20 years, Larry Hetrick of Meadville, PA; her son, Anthony Michael Sharpe of Townville, PA and her daughter, Carrie Ann Sharpe of Meadville, PA; her grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Logan Sharpe and Arianna and Landon Sharpe; two sisters, Debby Watkins of Sheakleyville, PA and Becky Sheridan and her husband, Patrick of Saegertown, PA; one brother, Ronnie Watkins and his wife, Robin of Meadville, PA and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Watkins and her sister, Donna Kawinski.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
