William F Bell
July 20, 1924 — April 28, 2009
William lived most of his childhood in Starbrick, PA and attended Warren Area Schools. He worked hard all of his life and left this place an accomplished and self-educated man who loved to read, especially anything that had to do with history or politics. He was employed by the Postal Telegraph where he worked with his father and then enlisted and served his country during W.W. II with the US Army from 1943 - 1946 in the European Theatre and was awarded a bronze star for meritorious service. He was then employed by Atlantic Breeders Cooperative and retired after 35 plus years. Upon retirement, he volunteered for several years with R.S.V.P. in Meadville and was given several awards for his service. He also volunteered with the Friends Program of Crawford County. We was a proud life member of VFW Post 2006.
