William "Bj" Brenot

William “BJ” Christian Brenot, age 38, of Meadville, PA passed away at home surrounded by family after a short illness on February 14, 2023.  He was born on July 30, 1984 in Meadville, PA to David and Darlene (Dietrich) Brenot.  He married Jody Higby on July 4, 2020. She survives.

BJ owned and operated his own woodworking business- Phoenix Woodcraftsman.  He enjoyed being outdoors and like to hunt and fish.  He especially loved taking his daughter and grandsons fishing and was known as the “fish whisperer.”  BJ had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone.

BJ is survived by his mother, Darlene Adams and her significant other, Charles Tatsch of Erie, PA; his wife and lifelong partner, Jody Brenot of Meadville, PA; his daughter, Thena Ariel Way-Brenot of Meadville, PA; his stepsons, Michael Milesend and his significant other, Stephanie Jones of Meadville, PA, David Kridel and his significant other, Elaine Jones of Meadville, PA; his stepdaughter, Caitlyn Cameron and her significant other, Matthew Randall of Hermitage, PA; grandchildren, Trevor, Hayden, Jacob, Gabrielle, Ryland and Colton; two brothers, Justin Brenot of Clarksville, TN and Shane Brenot and his wife, Justine of Greenville, PA and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father and his step father, Tom Adams.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am at North Salem Wesleyan Methodist Church, Osborne Road, Greenville, PA 16125.
