William Edward Deem, of Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 87.

He was born on January 7, 1938, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Addison and Rose Marie Deem. Bill was the beloved brother of the late Marlene (the late John) Stahley, with whom he shared a very close bond throughout their lives. He is survived by his niece, Linda (Phil) Mika, and nephew, Mike (Deserie) Stahley. He was a proud great-uncle to Danielle (Levi) Wagner, Matthew Mika, and Mark (Miyah) Mika, and a cherished great-great-uncle to Liam John Wagner and Everett Phillip Wagner.

William also shared a special companionship with Arlene Fogal and her children Mark (Mary) Fogal, Damon (Jody) Fogal, and Lauren Fogal.

A graduate of Central Catholic High School, Bill went on to study at an Engineering and Drafting Technical School. William pursued a career as a Service Engineer. His work required extensive travel across the country, where he installed and serviced bakery equipment. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1960 to 1968 and was a dedicated member of the Linesville VFW Post 7842.

A true craftsman, William built his own home beginning in 1973, a lasting testament to his hard work and determination. He was deeply loved by his caregivers, a reflection of his kindness, good humor, and warm spirit. William valued lifelong friendships, loved life, and held a strong sense of patriotism that guided his character.

He will be remembered as a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a man of integrity who lived fully and left a lasting mark on those who knew him
