William G. Francisco

William G. Francisco, age 79, of Meadville passed away on May 6, 2017 at his residence.             He was born in Cooperstown, PA on August 3, 1937, the son of the late William and Florence Keas Francisco. He was a 1955 graduate of Cochranton High School.             He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958. He worked at Avtex and for Clint Brown and Sons until his retirement. He also worked at McNamara’s Farm throughout his life.             He was a lifetime member of the Pioneer Steam and Gas Engine Society of N.W. PA and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006.             He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling, and collecting. William never went anywhere without his loyal golden retriever Hannah.             William is survived by three sons: Randy Francisco of Pittsburgh, PA, Charles Francisco and his wife Rebecca of Townville, PA, Dale Francisco and wife Jan of Meadville, PA, a daughter: Vicky Buzzard of Texas. Also a sister: Donna Stavey and her husband Donald of Mt. Dora, FL and three grandchildren Kevin, Anthony, and Courtney, and one great-granddaughter; Kailee. William is further survived by several nieces and nephews.             In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother: Lyle J.
