William Free

William L. Free, age 82, of Conneaut Lake, PA passed away after a sudden illness at UPMC Hamot on Sunday July 12, 2026. He was born on March 23, 1944 in Meadville, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Yursic) Free. He married Roxanne Ray.

William served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Roxanne Free; his sons, William D. Free and Jason Free and his wife, Christine; one granddaughter, Madeleine Free and his siblings, John Free, Paul Free and his wife, Doris, Douglas Free and Betty Rissel.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Walls and Barbara Joan Kustes and his brothers, Charles Free, David Free and Joseph Free.

As per his wishes there will be no services.
