William David Krasa

William Bill' David Krasa, a veteran, age 67 of Conneaut Lake, passed away on May 30, 2015 at his home after failing health. Bill was born October 16, 1947 in Meadville the son of the late William L. and Elizabeth J. (McFetridge) Krasa. William was a 1965 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School and served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He worked for Ram Tool as a tool and die maker for many years. He was an avid golfer, played baseball thru Little League into High School. He was a member of Conneaut Lake Fire Hall Station # 3 and enjoyed his times at P & D's Saloon. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by a sister Diane and a niece Debbie Urbanick. He is survived by his brother Richard and his wife Iva Krasa of Meadville, a sister Sherry Romyn of Haymarket, VA (widow of Pete Romyn), four nephews; Jay Romyn and his wife Michelle of Ashburn, VA, Troy Krasa and his wife Laurie of Meadville, Jeff Romyn of Haymarket, VA and Keith Krasa and his wife Melissa of Saegertown. He is further survived by two nieces; Melissa VanGiegen and her husband Scott of Leesburgh, Va and Mandy Krasa her significant other, Dustin Powell of Meadville; four great nephews: Justin and Nicholas Romyn of Ashburn, VA, Logan Krasa of Saegertown, Kaden Powell of Meadville and three great nieces; Felicia Krasa of Meadville, Tiffany Krasa of Meadville and Riley Krasa of Saegertown. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
