William H. Rowland

William “Bill” H. Rowland, age 70, of Meadville, PA passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday November 11, 2024. He was born on August 3, 1954 in Meadville, PA to the late Arthur and Gloria (Hassett) Rowland.

Bill was a 1972 graduate of Saegertown High School. He worked for Coyne Industrial Laundry of Erie for many years. He then moved to South Carolina and retired from Schaeffler Group USA in Fort Mill, SC.  After living in South Carolina for 20 years, he returned to his hometown to enjoy retirement.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR fan.  He enjoyed gardening, classic rock music, and reading the newspaper.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Amy (Mark) Dellinger of Rock Hill, SC and Krista Rowland of Rock Hill, SC; his grandchildren, Colby and Cullen Dellinger, Evey (Bradley) Woolley and Drake (Peyton) Mullaney;  one great-granddaughter, Piper Woolley and another great grand-daughter, Charlie Woolley, on the way; two sisters, Barbara Payne of Berea, OH and Becky Anthony of Meadville, PA and one brother, Fred Rowland of Meadville, PA.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melanie Grace Rowland.

Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
