Gay M. Lynch

Gay M. Lynch, age 100, of Meadville, PA passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.  She was born May 17, 1916 in Stonega, Virginia the daughter of the late Joseph George Matz and Aileen Rosenheim Matz.  She married Roland Lynch on June 9, 1959.  He preceded her in death on November 12, 2005. Gay was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Meadville and a member of the Iroquois Club. She is survived by two daughters: Lennelle McKinnon of Canton, New York and Jo Ellen Parsell and her husband John of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, two sons: H. Randolph Bobbitt, Jr. of Chandler, Arizona, and James H. Bobbitt and his wife Betty of Jacksonville, Florida, six grandchildren: Amy Bobbitt,  Michelle Bobbitt, Patrick Bobbitt, Yovgo Kagsfas, Stephen Bobbitt and Becky Bobbitt, four sisters: Ruth Morris of Ellenton, Florida, Clariee Stewart of Plant City, Florida, Marqurite Bolden of Silver Springs, Maryland, and Mary Ellen Outen of Orlando, Florida, a brother: John Matz of Orlando, Florida.  In addition to her parents and her husband, Gay was preceded in death by her grandson Theron Bobbitt, four sisters: Josephine Wells, Dorothea Larson, Regina Curry and Barbara Decker and by two brothers: George Daniel Matz and Joe Matz. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. A graveside service will be in Washington Court House, Ohio when convenient with the family.
