Elizabeth Onspaugh

Elizabeth Ball Onspaugh, age 62, of Meadville, PA passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Monday July 8, 2024 at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was born on September 1, 1961 to the late Mary Ann (Ball) Booth and was raised by her mother and stepfather, Ronald K. Booth.  She was formerly married to Victor Onspaugh.

Elizabeth attended Seton school and graduated from MASH class of 1979.  She was a preschool teacher at Headstart for 17 years.  She was an avid reader.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and Sudoku.  Elizabeth loved her cats and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her stepfather, Elizabeth is survived by her children, Amanda Burns and her husband, Bradley of Linesville, PA, Adam Onspaugh of Meadville, PA and Alyssa Wheeler and her husband, Zane of Meadville, PA; her grandchildren, Kenyan Barry, Kayleb Barry, Logan Frye, Alexis Frye, Xavier Onspaugh, Xoey Onspaugh, Raylan Onspaugh and Skieler Wheeler; one sister, Mary K. Shaw of Meadville, PA and one niece, Jessica Krider and her husband, Steven of NC.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Booth; her grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Ball and her aunt, Mary Elizabeth Tonelli.

As per the family’s request, there will be no services.  A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
