Harry married Joanie Elizabeth Atkins on January 31, 1953, and she survives. He served the country in the Air Force during the Korean War and was of the Lutheran faith. Harry was a graduate of Johnstown High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He is a retired chemist and former member of the Erie Outing Club.
