David was born in Youngstown, Ohio, graduated from Indiana PA. High School, George Washington University University (the College of Engineering). He worked as a mechanical engineer for RCA, ITT, ITT Europe, and Moore Products (now Siemens). As a US Army Air Corps First Lieutenant in WWII, David was a B-17 Bomber navigator, serving in the European Theater.

He graduated from Central Methodist College and received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Princeton in 1936. He taught one year at Culver Stockton before coming to Allegheny in 1937. William attended Conneaut Valley High School where he was Valedictorian. He also attended Edinboro University. He worked at the GE Plant in Erie, Keystone Ordinance Works, Viscose and Talon plants, owned and operatored a dairy farm and was a tool & die maker at Greenleaf Corp. He was a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church.
Dorothy Freeburn

Dorothy married Court Freeburn in 1953 and he preceded her in death in 1976. Dorothy received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Shippensburg State College. From 1940-1949 she worked as a secretary for the PA Game Commission and then worked for a contracting company doing accounting for 16 years. She was a member of the Disciples of Christ.

Erma married Steve Conjalko on August 2, 1946, he preceded her in death in 1979. Erma worked at Meadville Laundry and Dry Cleaning for 10 years and retired from Meadville Medical Center after 15 1/2 years.

Catherine married John A. Feleppa on November 29, 1947; he preceded her in death on January 31, 1991. She graduated from Youngstown High School. She was a homemaker and also helped out with the family shoe business, Jonnie's Shoe Repair. She was a loving mother.

Eleanor was a waitress at the Old Beacon Inn, she co-operated the Maple Farm Shooting Grounds, she was a motel clerk and a homemaker. She attended the McDaniels Corners Church.
Clyde Mattern

Clyde was a graduate of Franklin High School. He was a US Army WWII veteran, where he received a bronze star, and was involved in Salerno, Anjou, and Southern France. He retired after 30 years at GATX (General American Transportation Corporation). He was of the Protestant faith.
