Dorothy was of the Methodist faith and had been a member of Mt. Hope Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her love was unconditional and was always there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her cat Abagail and taking long rides in the country with her grandson.

Frances was a member of the Littles Corners United Methodist Church and was a choir member. She volunteered at Meadville City Hospital since 1973 and Tel-Med since 1979. She was famous for taking care of the flower boxes outside the Meadville Post Office.
